Welcome to my online gallery, an eclectic mix of abstract art with no real theme just personal escapism & artistic licence taken to the max. Sporadic splashes of colourful oils filled with vibrancy & rough texture created over a 20 year period using a variety of applicators including spatulas, cotton, corks & brush. Fireball Manifestation A 2008 piece created using a mix of knife and cork.
Ochre Abyss Ochre Abyss is a relatively recent addition from 2016. Heavily textured.
Mars This piece came from nowhere but the bold textured colours gave it that planetry surface affect
Angels of Silver A smooth and glistening oil on canvas piece heavily dependant on the swirling cork
Genesis Awaits A simple oil of canvas piece from 2003, mixture of yellows and reds which i call my Pepparoni period
Creme Ninon No bold colour variances, just a heavily textured pea green soup. Twisted cork affect.
Aqua Confusion My overall favourite piece. The texture and dark/light blue colour defintion makes this stand out
Roses in June This gaudy, colourful puece is a bold concoction of textured oils on canvas
Citron Paradise An eclectic piece created in 2005 oil on canvas using corks and spatulas. A summery French vibe.
Jaune Bleu Jaune Bleu is an off the cuff mix of yellows and blues oils on canvas. Created in 2010.
The Pink Optimist The Pink Optimist is one of my most recent pieces created in 2020. Oils on canvas and loud!
The Seas of Dijon The Seas of Dijon is my nod to the French mustard industry. Oils on canvas with heavy cork usage
Peacock Frenzy Created in 2010 the Peacock feathers appeared later in the process. Vibrant and heavily textured.
Inferno Pleasure Inferno Pleasure is a heady concoction of texture and colour. A bold piece.
Hell Awakens Hell Awakens was to be entitled The Curse of Hades, oils on canvas from 2008
Kaleidoscope Kaleidoscope was created back in 2004 and is a vibrant piece mixing a variety of colours.
Incendiary Paradox One of my favourites, the colour mixes and texture give this vibrant piece an edge
Festival of Demons Demons abound in this piece from 2012, cork and knife used as applicators.
Oceanic Horses A stormy sea oil on canvas piece from 2008, spatula and cork used extensively
Tranquility Within This serene piece falls back to 2005 and is a less textured but eclectic mix of colour
The Cave of Perpetrators Again, the demon to the bottom right appeared at a late stage on this 2005 piece.
Noir Bleu Another sea setting, oils on canvas with vibrant blues, white and black
Turquoise Paradise Turquoise Paradise is a marine piece created with swirling cork to get the textured lift
Tsunami Apocalypse Copius amounts of oil and colour created in 2008 using cork, spatula and cotton wool
Summer Serenity Summer Serenity is a positive, vibrant piece created using a concoction of yellows and reds.
Signals of Mandarine Signals of Mandarine is a dark and subdued piece from 2013 with a mix of orange and black
